Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology (Travel/Contract)

Location: New Orleans, Louisiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (7:30 AM – 6:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 40

Job Summary

• Assignment may include being part of an "Emergency Team" with expectation to stay onsite during emergency events or serve as relief.
• On-call required with a 30-minute response time.
• Scrub experience required.
• Prior travel experience required.
• Neuro Interventional Radiology (Neuro IR) experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Required Experience

• Candidates with Neuro IR and scrub experience: minimum 1 year of experience accepted.
• Candidates without Neuro IR experience: minimum 2 years of experience required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Louisiana.
• Interventional Radiology Technologist (1 year of experience).
• Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year.
• One completed travel assignment.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association.
• Scrub experience.
• On-call availability with 30-minute response time.

Health and Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 12 months indicating good health.
• Fit mask testing (N95 acceptable) within 1 year of start; onsite fit testing available if needed.
• Negative TB test (PPD, Qgold, or Tspot) within 12 months; if positive, additional documentation required.
• Immunizations or titers required for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
• Tdap vaccine required for select departments (not specified for this role).
• Seasonal flu vaccination, declination, or medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct 1 – Mar 31).

Additional Requirements
