Registered Nurse — ICU
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Madison, Wisconsin
- Day/evening schedule
- 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
- Every other weekend and some holidays
- 36 hours per week
- 4x12s may be accepted if the traveler is interested
- Contract length: 22 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin
- Burn ICU experience within the last year
- 1 year of Burn ICU experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Epic
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Schedule Notes
- Day/evening coverage
- Every other weekend
- Some holidays
Compliance / Onboarding
- Wisconsin caregiver screening and Wisconsin BID form are required
- Background check required
- Employment application required
- References required
- Skills checklist required annually
- Photo for badge required
- Communicable disease form required within 90 days of start
- TB questionnaire required annually
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray required
- MMR, varicella, and hepatitis B documentation required
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season
- Drug screening required
- Physical exam required by Aya standard
- Orientation safety manual acknowledgement required
- Pass/fail telemetry testing acknowledgement required
