Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Newark, New York
• 13-week contract
• Day shift: 6:30 AM–7:00 PM, 3x12 hours
• Every other weekend required, with 6 weekend shifts per 13-week contract
• Floating required from long term care to acute care as needed, including Clifton Springs and Newark Wayne Hospital
• Unit accepts first-time travelers
• A personal car is required for Eastern Region contracts

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in New York
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Driver's License
• Experience with Epic

Unit Details

• Patient diagnoses include CHF, COPD, Pneumonia, Respiratory Failure, and Respiratory Infections
• Special procedures/unit details include ABG Sampling, Ventilator Mgmt., Patient Assessment Skills, Med Administration, and Pulmonary Hygiene
• Special equipment includes Hamilton Vent, Servo-U, NKV330, and V60
