RN Telemetry Travel Assignment
Overview
- Location: San Antonio, Texas
- Employment type: Travel
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Hours per week: 36
- Shift: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- Weekend requirement: Rotation weekends with 2 weekend day commitments
- Call: No
- Floating: Required as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Telemetry experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS
Preferred Qualifications
- Neuro-stroke, seizure, or other neurological disorder experience
- Cardiac experience
- Neuro-surgical experience
- Meditech experience
Unit Details
- Neuro telemetry unit
- Common procedures include peripheral IV starts, Foley catheter insertion, and NGT insertion
Dress Code
- Navy scrub top and pants
- Navy or white scrub jacket
- Clean, neat appearance required; visible piercings other than ears are not allowed
