Job Overview

• Location: Riverside, California
• Employment type: Travel
• Contract length: 6 weeks
• Hours per week: 48
• Schedule notes: No special scheduling or requested time off; weekends may be required, and on-call is not typically scheduled

Unit Details

• Specialty area: Labor and Delivery
• Floating area: Postpartum/Couplets
• Patient ratios: 1 RN to 2 patients; 1 RN to 1 patient
• Typical procedures: NST, cervical exams, labor management, medication titration, McRoberts maneuver

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• BLS
• ACLS
• NRP
• AWHONN
• Rapid Response Competencies
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Rapid Response experience

Preferred Experience

• Over 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Transition Nurse/Baby Catching experience

Additional Notes

• Candidates may extend for an additional 6 weeks at the same rate if fully credentialed
• Candidates without AWHONN fetal monitoring experience will not be considered
