Job Overview

Travel RN position in Thornton, Colorado
36 hours per week
13-week contract
Night shift: 7 PM to 7 AM

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS
ACLS
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting

Preferred Qualifications

Cardiac experience
Prior Meditech experience

Unit Details

Progressive Care unit
24 beds
Patient ratio: 5:1
Tele monitoring and post-op monitoring used
Common patient population includes post-op recovery, post-op ortho cases, stroke, CIWA, chest pain, renal failure, and respiratory failure

Work Environment

Team-oriented unit
High patient turnover with occasional high discharge/admit days
Modified self-scheduling with schedules posted 3 weeks in advance
