Registered Nurse - Med Surg
Location
- Nashville, Tennessee
- Unit: 4th Floor, 34-bed medical-surgical unit
- Patient ratio: 6:1
- Documentation system: Meditech
Employment Type
- Travel assignment
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (36 hours/week)
- Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts per schedule
- Floating: May float to other departments based on need
Unit Environment
- Unit secretary available during day shift
- Patient care technicians (PCTs) available on all shifts
- Level 1 trauma center and Comprehensive Stroke Center
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
- Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience, including telemetry experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting
