Beds: 20
Staff per shift:
- Day: 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, 2 Patient Care Technicians (PCT), 1 Health Unit Coordinator (HUC)
- Night: 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 PCTs, 1 HUC
Patient Ratios:
- Day Shift: 1:5 (stretch 1:6)
- Night Shift: 1:6 (stretch 1:7)
Equipment used: Telemetry monitors, Baxter pumps
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: Cerner/Power Chart

Provide nursing care on a telemetry observation unit
Typical procedures include telemetry monitoring, Foley catheter insertion, and IV starts
Floating may be required to other med-surg units including trauma, renal, neuro, ortho, spine, and general surgery

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience, including telemetry experience within the last year
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Telemetry certification

Attendance policy provided during hire-on process
This is a travel nursing assignment with exposure to a high-acuity telemetry unit in a Level II trauma and comprehensive stroke center environment
