Contract Length: 13 weeks

Shift: Day shift, 4 days a week, 10 hours per day (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
On Call: Required on weeknights and weekends (5:30 PM – 7:00 AM Friday evening through Monday morning)

Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in Cath Lab (hard stop)
No first-time travelers accepted; candidates with 5+ years experience will be screened
Experience with:
- Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab procedures
- Cardiac Stent Placement
- Circulating procedures
- Right and Left heart catheterization

Background check within 90 days covering all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years, updated annually
Drug screening: 9-panel drug screen within 12 months of start
Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
Immunizations and health requirements including:
- TDAP vaccine within 10 years (declination accepted)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Seasonal flu vaccine during flu season (declination accepted)
- COVID vaccination record preferred (declinations not required)
Respirator clearance required annually for travel candidates

Employment application covering at least last 5 years
Minimum of 2 professional references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within the last 3 years
Education verification required for nursing degree
Annual completion of regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via LMS
Photo for badge (passport style with neutral background) required

Candidates must be able to float to other facilities within a reasonable distance if needed
Competency exams and medication/pharmacology tests required as applicable
Color blind testing may be required on a unit basis
Epic training modules must be completed as assigned

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
Minimum of 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, with experience within the last year
Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment
ACLS certification
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
