Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Position: Cath Lab Registered Nurse
• Shift: Day shift, 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital with 320 staffed beds
• On-call Requirement: 7 days on call per pay period (2 nights/week post-shift + 1 weekend every 2 weeks)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend, may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs
• Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered
• Start Date: ASAP

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Minimum 1.5 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, with experience within the last year
• Completion of at least one travel assignment
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system

Additional Requirements

• Skills Checklist: Required and must be updated annually
• Competency Exams: Medication test/pharmacology competency exam as applicable
• Annual Regulatory Training: Completion of facility and regional Workramp modules prior to start and annually thereafter
• Badge Photo: Passport-style photo with neutral background required for badge issuance
• Fit Mask Testing: Required for travel candidates, must be updated annually
• On-call and floating policy acknowledgment may be required

• Charting System: Meditech
• Scrub Color for RNs: Royal Blue

Notes

• Pending licenses are not accepted
• Return to Office (RTO) restrictions must be included at time of submission
• Facility may call off once per two-week pay period
• Block scheduling accommodations are at manager discretion

This position is ideal for experienced Cath Lab RNs with EPIC experience who are comfortable with on-call duties and weekend shifts in an acute care hospital setting.
