Registered Nurse - NICU (Wisconsin, Madison)

Job Details

Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour shifts, day (7:00 am - 7:30 pm) and night (7:00 pm - 7:30 am)
Schedule: Monday through Friday with 2-3 weekends required per 6-week schedule
Hours per Week: 36 hours

Unit & Patient Population

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Level III/IV
Care for post-operative patients, including management of g-tubes, tracheostomies, ventilators
Experience with various modes of invasive and noninvasive ventilation required

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Minimum 2 years of NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care) experience, with NICU experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
Experience with g-tubes
Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator management
Experience with various modes of invasive and noninvasive ventilation
