Registered Nurse - NICU (Wisconsin, Madison)

Job Details

  • Employment Type: Travel/Contract
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: 12-hour shifts, day (7:00 am - 7:30 pm) and night (7:00 pm - 7:30 am)
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday with 2-3 weekends required per 6-week schedule
  • Hours per Week: 36 hours

Unit & Patient Population

  • Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Level III/IV
  • Care for post-operative patients, including management of g-tubes, tracheostomies, ventilators
  • Experience with various modes of invasive and noninvasive ventilation required

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Wisconsin
  • Minimum 2 years of NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care) experience, with NICU experience within the last year
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
  • Experience with g-tubes
  • Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator management
  • Experience with various modes of invasive and noninvasive ventilation
