Overview

Travel/contract RN role in Issaquah, Washington
Night shift: 4x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
26-week contract
Unit has 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms
Staffing ratio: 1:1–3
Float scope includes Post-Partum and possibly L&D at Swedish First Hill

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Washington
Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart Stroke Foundation
NRP
EFM
FHM
AWHONN Intermediate
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic

ACLS

Role Details

Labor and Delivery RN
Responsibilities include circulate, OB-GYN, post-op, pre-op, scrub, low risk antepartum, and low risk LD
Special procedures include blood/blood products administration, cardioversion/defibrillation, cooling/warming blanket, drains, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, wound vac, heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate
Special equipment/clinical coverage includes attending all deliveries, attending high risk deliveries, GYN surgeries, couplet care, low risk antepartum, and transition nursery

Additional Notes

First-time travelers are accepted
Can request up to 2 major holidays off
Travelers are required to work 1 of 3 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve
Perm candidates from other Providence facilities outside Swedish are eligible if separated for at least 3 months
