Job Opportunity: RN - LDRP Director
Location

Position Summary
- Leadership and operational oversight of Labor & Delivery, postpartum/newborn services, and outpatient OB-GYN clinics.
- Responsible for 24/7 leadership, strategic direction, and ensuring safe, high-quality, evidence-based care.
- Oversees safety programs, regulatory compliance, staffing, budgeting, and quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead perinatal safety programs aligned with national standards and implement clinical protocols for obstetric emergencies.
- Oversee multidisciplinary simulation drills, emergency preparedness, and case/event reviews.
- Ensure clinical practice follows current evidence and national perinatal guidelines.
- Develop and maintain clinical policies and procedures; partner with educators for training and competency validation.
- Maintain compliance with CMS and state regulations; ensure survey readiness through audits and documentation.
- Provide 24/7 operational leadership for maternal-child health services, including staffing and patient flow.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, evaluations, and retention; promote a culture of safety and teamwork.
- Manage perinatal quality improvement initiatives and data reporting on key metrics (e.g., maternal morbidity, cesarean rates).
- Develop and manage budgets, staffing, supplies, and equipment planning.
- Participate in hospital incident command during emergencies.
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
- Day shift
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree (MSN, MHA, or related) preferred
- 1-3 years of progressive leadership experience in maternal-child health preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM) certification preferred
- Experience with regulatory surveys and perinatal safety programs preferred
Professional Competencies
- Knowledge of perinatal evidence-based practice and AWHONN staffing guidelines
- Strong communication, leadership, and crisis management skills
- Ability to lead interdisciplinary teams and foster a culture of safety
