Registered Nurse — Neuro ICU
Location
- Phoenix, Arizona
Contract
- 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour day shifts
Required Qualifications
- Active BLS and ACLS certification
- 2 years of ICU experience in a large facility (450+ beds)
- Level I trauma experience
- EVD experience
- Strong neuro assessment skills
- ICP monitoring experience
- Cerner experience
- 3–6 months of travel experience
Additional Considerations
- May float to all ICU floors and all Tele units
- Must be able to work with a 1:2 patient ratio in the unit and up to 1:4 when floating to Tele
- Charge nurse role does not take patients
- Vents are present on the unit
- This is a teaching hospital, and nursing students may be present
- Must complete SIMs Lab and a day 1 pass/fail exam
- Must pass the dysrhythmia exam before acceptance
- Must have natural hair color and no facial piercings
- Must be able to work within the unit’s weekend and holiday rotation
