Mammography Tech Travel Opportunity
Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
Seeking a Mammography Technologist proficient in both screening and diagnostic mammography procedures. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with no holidays, call, or weekend shifts.
Unit Information
- Department: Radiology / Mammography & Diagnostic
- Staff on Unit: 2 (including 1 Radiologist, 1 Ultrasound Tech, 1 Mammographer)
- Shift: Day shift only, 40 hours per week (8-hour days)
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- Equipment: Hologic Selenia Dimensions, Affirm Stereotactic
- EMR Systems: Epic, Volpara, McKesson PACS
Required Qualifications
- Mammography Technologist with 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT Mammography (M) Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with stereotactic guided biopsies and wire localizations
- Weekly Quality Control experience
