Overview

Travel assignment in Tuscaloosa, Alabama
13-week contract
Clinical, patient-facing role
36 guaranteed hours

Schedule

4x10 hour shifts per week
Possible 5:00 AM start times
Some late days during the week
Weekend and holiday call
Weekend on call every 6 weeks
1 weekend call from Friday to Sunday in a 6-week period
Must be able to respond within 20 minutes of a call-out
Holidays as required

Required Qualifications

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Valid RN license in Alabama
Cardiac Cath Lab (2 years of experience)
Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS

Responsibilities

Coordinates nursing care for patients undergoing invasive and non-invasive diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures
Participates in patient and family teaching
Provides leadership while working with other team members and disciplines to maintain professional nursing standards

Additional Details

Must be willing to float to units/hospitals
Meditech is used at the facility
Solid navy scrubs/dress code
