Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Details

Unit: Operating Room
Patient Ratios: 1:1
Scheduling: Variable schedule with call required
Floating: May float to other departments
Documentation System: Cerner
Dress Code: Scrubs provided by facility

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
Hepatitis B vaccination
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience in Plastic Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, Burn, and Trauma care

Skills and Experience

Broad surgical knowledge across multiple service lines including:
- General surgery
- Gynecology (GYN)
- Robotics
- Neurosurgery
- Orthopedics
- Plastic surgery
- Urology
- Burn and trauma care
Ability to perform variable procedures in the OR setting
