Job Overview

• Location: Rochester, New York
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Night, 4x12 hours
• Schedule: Every other weekend
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Locals: Must live within 75 miles

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New York
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Experience with Epic

Clinical Setting

• Intermediate care / step-down unit
• Adult acute care patients
• 26 beds
• Continuous pulse oximetry and telemetry monitoring
• Patients may require airway management, acute BIPAP support, arterial lines, central lines, and titrated IV infusions

Key Skills

• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Rapid Response / Code team support
• Peripheral line care and management
• Oxygen and non-invasive airway support
• Isolation precautions

Additional Notes

• EPIC experience is required
• Scrub color: any combination of navy and white
