Contract Length: 13 weeks

Shift: 0645-1715 with liver call; may assist with other cases if no liver/transplant cases available
Must have strong experience with liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplant procedures
Proficiency required in Misonix/CUSA equipment
Experience required in organ implantation (not just harvesting)
Floating within scope of practice to meet facility needs is expected
On-call requirement: 1 shift per week plus two 12-hour weekend shifts per month
Locals accepted at the same rate
Pending license accepted
Guaranteed hours: 36 hours for 3x12-hour shifts or 40 hours for 8/10-hour shifts
Smoke-free facility: all travelers must be nicotine-free (negative 10 panel drug screen including nicotine test required)

Valid RN license in Florida
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including OR experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Strong experience with liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplant procedures
Experience in organ implantation (putting organs back in the new patient, not just harvesting)
Proficiency in Misonix/CUSA equipment

Negative 10 panel drug screen within 1 year of start (no medical marijuana card accepted)
Physical exam within 6 months of start
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (annual updates required)
Required immunizations or titers: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
Seasonal influenza vaccination required during flu season (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
COVID-19 vaccination series or approved medical/religious exemption required
Fingerprinting: Florida AHCA Level II fingerprint clearance required prior to start
Background checks including 7-year criminal history and federal exclusions

First-time travel nurses accepted
Block scheduling not accommodated
All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront with application
Performance evaluations and professional references required for candidates with prior experience at the facility
Candidates must be nicotine-free with negative drug screen results including cotinine
