Role Overview
- Travel/Contract OR RN
- Start date: 10/12/206
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Rotating 5x8 and 2x12
- Weekend requirement: 4 shifts per 6-week schedule
- Holiday, weekend, and on-call coverage required
- On-call: 4 calls per 6-week period with a 1-hour response time
- First-time travelers accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maryland
- Operating Room experience within the last year
- 1 year of Operating Room experience
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
- Two supervisory references required within 1 year of start
- Previous 5 years of employment history verification required
- Agency application/resume must have been completed within 30 days of start
- All RNs must sign the job description prior to start
Additional Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit test within 1 year of start
- Negative TB or chest X-ray required
- Drug screening required
- Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity/documentation required
- Tdap required for units working with children
- Maryland state exclusion list search required
- Background check and employment verification requirements apply
- Government-issued photo ID required
- I-9 and E-Verify attestation required
- Badge photo required
