Role Overview

• Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department
• Travel/Contract assignment in Saint Paul, Minnesota
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
• 36 hours per week
• Ratios: 3:1 on all shifts
• Teaching hospital with Level 3 trauma designation
• 317 staffed beds

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Minnesota
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• TNCC
• Pending license accepted
• First-timers accepted
• Will work every third weekend
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
• Competency Exam
• Criminal background check required within 1 year of start
• EPLS/GSA/SAM required within 1 year of start
• HHS/OIG required within 1 year of start
• Primary source verification of license required
• Minnesota DHS clearance required
• RespSafety clearance required before start
• Physical exam within 12 months prior to start
• Tdap required
• Negative TB or chest X-ray required
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunization/documentation requirements apply
• Drug testing required within 1 year of start
• References: 2 required
• Skills checklist required annually
