Minimum 1 year of MRI Technologist experience within the last year
Siemens MRI experience required
Certifications/Licenses:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or ARC accepted
- MR certification: ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT
Radiation badge: Not required for MRI Techs
State License: South Carolina license not required for MRI Techs
Background checks: Comprehensive, including 7 years of residence/work history, criminal, sex offender, and federal exclusions
Drug screen: 10-panel within 90 days of start
Fit mask test: N95 fit test within 90 days prior to start, renewed annually
Physical exam: Initial and annual updates required
Immunizations and Titers:
- Tdap within 10 years or declination form
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella: Positive titer or vaccination series required; boosters if low titer
- Hepatitis B: Titer, vaccine series, or declination required
- TB test (T-spot or Q-Gold) within 90 days or chest x-ray if positive history
Flu vaccine: Required during flu season (Aug 1 - Mar 31), medical/religious exemptions accepted (no declinations)
Color blindness test: Required prior to start
Competency exams: Required as applicable
