Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - MS/Telemetry

Location: Tucson, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

Work on a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit with a team nursing model (LPN + RN ratio 8:1).
Floating within scope of practice is required, including occasional float to a sister facility approximately 25 minutes away.
Orientation is held twice monthly; attendance at full orientation and contract length is mandatory.
Open book EKG test required during orientation.
Four weekend shifts required during the contract.
No local candidates or first-time travelers accepted for this position.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona.
Minimum 2 years of Telemetry nursing experience, with at least some experience within the last year.
Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Experience with Epic electronic health record system.
