Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Frederick, Maryland
- Schedule: 4x12 nights, 19:00–7:30
- Rotating holidays and weekends
- Block scheduling is not available
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Unit Details
- Labor & Delivery unit provides obstetric care from 20 weeks gestation through 6 weeks postpartum
- Unit includes 14 Labor & Delivery rooms, OB Triage Unit, OB Operating Rooms, and OB PACU
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maryland
- Labor and Delivery (3 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred
- C-EFM
- AWHONN Intermediate accepted in place of C-EFM initially
- TNCC
Additional Notes
- If contract extensions meet or exceed 1 year from the initial contract start date, C-EFM must be obtained
- For flu season, vaccine or facility-specific medical/religious exemption is required
