Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Location: Washington, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (3x12 hour shifts)
Weekly Hours: 36 hours
Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend

Unit & Patient Information

Unit: Labor & Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum, Mother/Baby Couplet
Number of Beds: 8 Labor & Delivery, 8 Postpartum
Patient Ratios: Labor 1:1
Patient Population: Women in antepartum, triage, labor & delivery, recovery, postpartum, and well newborns
Float Requirements: Labor, Mother Baby, Copalite, Postpartum
EMR System: EPIC

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience, with experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients
Maternal-Newborn experience

Job Expectations & Skills

Must be autonomous and able to function independently
Provide care across Labor & Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum, and Mother/Baby units
Circulate in OR during Cesarean sections
Work night shifts with weekend rotation every third weekend

Dress Code

Scrubs: Blue or scrubs of choice
No unacceptable attire specified
