Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - Travel Position

Location: Aurora, Colorado
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours

Unit Information

• Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab
• Beds: 8 Holding Bays and 4 Cath/EP suites
• Staff: 16 total
• Shifts:

  • Day Shift: 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Night Shift: rotating on-call
• Patient Ratio: 3 staff to 1 patient in procedural area
• Equipment: Philips Fluoro Systems, Mac Lab, CardioLab for EP
• EMR System: Meditech

Typical Procedures

• Left Heart Catheterization (LHC)
• Right Heart Catheterization (RHC)
• Electrophysiology (EP) Ablations
• Pacemaker and Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) management
• Cardioversions
• Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)
• Tilt Table Tests

Required Qualifications

• Cath Lab Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• Cath Lab Tech Certification
• USP 800 Hazardous Drug Risk knowledge
• Proficient scrub skills and experience
• Ability to take on-call responsibilities and be housed within 30 minutes of the Cath Lab

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with EP, Structural Heart procedures, and Right Heart monitoring
• Positive attitude and strong engagement in high-quality patient care
