Required Qualifications

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Valid RN license in Alabama
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross issued by American Red Cross
NIHSS issued by American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

AHA PALS if working in a pediatric unit

Unit Overview

Cardiac surgical intensive care unit and stepdown care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and other surgical conditions
Focus includes post-operative recovery and complex invasive hemodynamic monitoring
