Labor and Delivery RN

Job Overview

Travel/contract RN position in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Night shift, 3x12 schedule
36 hours per week
Contract length: 12 weeks
First-time travelers accepted
Floating may be required within scope to meet facility needs
Block scheduling is not available
Local candidates are not accepted
Local radius rule: 75 miles
RTO limit: 5 days or less

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Oklahoma
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
Ability to scrub C-sections
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NRP
AWHONN Intermediate
Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications

Epic experience preferred

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements

Basic Dysrhythmia competency during compliance
Basic dysrhythmia competency exam
Unit-specific competency exam
Skills checklist
2 former direct supervisor references
Updated resume covering the last 7 years of employment
10-year work history verification
Background check
Drug screen
Physical exam
TB screening
Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption
COVID vaccination is strongly preferred, with declination allowed
Fit testing and required onboarding acknowledgments/documents prior to start

Notes

All RNs must attend patient care orientation
If no Epic experience within the last 6 months, Epic class is required before receiving the schedule
May be required to take Basic Dysrhythmia competency during compliance

Unit is ran by anesthesia, you will have to get anesthesia trays,,,set there area up while they complain about what you didn't do.
