Job Overview

• Location: Florence, South Carolina
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Shift length: 8 hours
• Hours per week: 40
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Role Details

• Specialty: Interventional Radiology Tech
• Daily caseload: 4 patients per tech
• On-call: Required, rotating with two other techs
• Weekend coverage: Every third weekend
• Floating: Not required
• Case experience required: General IR
• Case experience preferred: Neuro IR

Required Qualifications

• License: Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in South Carolina
• Experience: Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year, with 1 year of experience in the specialty
• Certifications: BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross, ARRT (R), SCQRSA

Additional Requirements

• Radiation badge: Required and must be provided by the agency
• Local candidates: Not accepted within a 60-mile radius
• RTO: Must be included at time of submission
• Block scheduling: May be considered with manager approval, depending on unit needs

Compliance / Pre-Start Items

• References: 2 clinical references
• Background check: Required, including international searches
• Drug screen: 10-panel within 90 days of start
• TB screening: Required
• Immunizations/documentation: Tdap, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, flu documentation, and COVID documentation or declination as applicable
• Physical exam: Required
• Respirator clearance: Required for patient-facing travelers
• Photo for badge: Required
• Orientation and onboarding documents: Signed acknowledgments, confidentiality, systems access, employee info, and job description required before start
