Clinical Lab Scientist

Overview

Travel/Contract role in Orange, California
Night shift: 4x10 hours, 21:30–7:30
Start time may flex to 20:00 as needed
Start date: ASAP
Contract length: 13 weeks
First-timers accepted: No
On-call: No
Floating: No
Weekend requirement: rotating weekends and holidays
Guaranteed hours may be reduced by one call-off per two-week pay period

Required Qualifications

Valid Medical Lab Technician license in California
Medical Lab Technician with 2 years of experience
Medical Lab Technician experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) experience
ASCP-BB certification
2 years of recent/current blood bank experience within the last 2 years
Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
Experience in a large hospital with 300+ beds
Must be able to work fully independently at night
Experience with Epic
Blood bank software experience
Wellsky and Immucor instrumentation experience

Preferred Qualifications

Teaching hospital experience
Clin Immunohem Sci certification
