Overview

Registered Nurse role in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Travel/contract assignment
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
Contract length: 12 weeks
First-time travelers accepted
Floating may be required within scope if needed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Oklahoma
Intermediate Care (2 years of experience)
Intermediate Care experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License

Schedule and Assignment Details

Patient ratio experience required: 1:4
No more than 5 days of RTO accepted
Block scheduling not available
May float to sister facilities if needed

Unit and Patient Population

IMC/MS stepdown unit with cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, and cardiothoracic surgery patients
Unit also accepts MS and IMC status patients
Common patient types include post-op cardiothoracic surgery, cath lab-related cardiac patients, CHF exacerbation, bradycardia, pacemakers, dysrhythmias, and hemo/pneumothorax cases

Unit is ran by anesthesia, you will have to get anesthesia trays,,,set there area up while they complain about what you didn't do.
