PT Outpatient

Overview

• Travel/Contract assignment in Valdez, Alaska
• Start: ASAP
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Day shift: 4x10 hours or 5x8 hours
• Open to block schedule
• Guaranteed hours: 72 hours per 2 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Alaska
• 1 year of Physical Therapist experience
• Physical Therapist experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS
• Experience in an Outpatient setting
• Experience in an Acute Care setting
• Experience in a Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing setting

Additional Details

• First timers not accepted
• No on-call
• No floating within scope to meet facility needs
• Local candidates not accepted; permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
• Candidates who previously worked as permanent staff for any Providence facility must be separated for at least 3 months before returning as a traveler

Unit Information

• Department serves hospital (IP and swing bed), LTC, and outpatient

Housing

• Housing is available during the assignment at additional cost
• Typically 1-bedroom apartments
• Move-in is available no earlier than 72 hours before the contract begins and no later than 24 hours after it ends
• Pets are not allowed
• Additional family members are uncommon and require approval
• Housing must be cleaned on departure or additional cleaning fees may apply
