CT Tech - Radiology (Travel Position)

Location: Albany, New York
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Sunday - Wednesday, 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM (Four 10-hour shifts)
Hours per Week: 40
On-Call: None

Job Description

• Perform CT scan technical procedures under supervision of Medical Director, Clinical Specialist, Manager, and Radiologist.
• Create diagnostic images using CT modality in a fast-paced Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center environment.
• Provide safe and positive patient experiences.
• Support teaching and continuous learning as technology evolves.
• Conduct CT exams on trauma, emergency room patients, outpatients, inpatients (including ICU), research patients, and those requiring specialized CT-guided procedures.
• Enforce radiation safety measures according to New York State Department of Health code part 16.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in New York
• CT Technologist experience within the last year (0 years of experience acceptable)
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Current BLS certification

Additional Information

• No prior travel experience required.
• No on-call responsibilities.
