Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work four 10-hour night shifts from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Schedule: Sunday through Wednesday
• No on-call responsibilities
• Must be a graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School and high school graduate
• New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography required or possess a limited permit to practice in New York State
• Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification required
• Entry level position with limited or no experience required
• Perform CT scans on trauma, emergency room, outpatient, inpatient, intensive care, and research patients
• Assist with specialized CT scan-guided procedures
• Create diagnostic images and provide patients with safe and positive experiences
• Practice and enforce radiation safety measures in accordance with New York State Department of Health code part 16
• Work in fast-paced Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center environment
• Support teaching and continue learning as technology evolves
