Overview

• 13-week contract
• Night shift, 7p-7a
• 36 hours per week
• Local candidates accepted; local rate applies
• 50-mile radius rule

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New York
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS
• Experience in a Critical Care setting
• SICU - Surgical Intensive Care experience
• ED - Emergency Department experience

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS
• PALS
• Charge experience
• Supervisor experience

Clinical Details

• Med surg with rare pediatric patient population
• RN ratio is 7:1 and may go to 8, though that is rare
• No on-call
• Common patient diagnoses include CHF, COPD, syncope, non-STEMI, DKA, wound issue, THR, TKR, lumbar surgery, general surgery, and COVID
• EMR system used: Sorian
