Overview

• Role: Cardiac Sonographer
• Location: Waltham, Massachusetts

• Shift: 08:00 - 16:00

Role Summary

• Independently performs comprehensive echocardiograms, including bubble studies and stress echo, in hospital-based and/or outpatient settings.
• Supports high-acuity diagnostic and clinical decision-making by acquiring high-quality diagnostic images and providing accurate preliminary findings in a timely manner.
• Requires knowledge of congenital anatomy, surgical repairs, and age-dependent physiology.

Required Qualifications

• Cardiac Sonographer (1 year of experience)
• Cardiac Sonographer experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• License/certificate verification and primary source verification of the professional license and/or certification, as required for the position
• Resume including the past 7 years of work experience; all work experience and education must include city and state
• 2 references within 4 years of submission, including at least 1 supervisor or above in the skillset
• MGB Skills Checklist completed within 1 year of submission

Onboarding Requirements

• Fit test within 365 days of start date and updated annually
• Respirator Medical Clearance (RMC) attestation, if fit test is required for the skill
• MMR documentation or proof of immunity
• Influenza vaccine
• TB test documentation
• Health statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA
