X-Ray Technologist

Location: Ithaca, New York
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 07:00 AM – 09:00 PM

Job Summary

Perform routine radiography imaging.
Assist with Fluoroscopy procedures including bariums exams, arthrograms, myelograms, hysterosalpingograms, trauma cases, and various Operating Room procedures.
Assist with Interventional Radiology (IR) cases such as nephrostomy tubes, drainage catheter placement, power port removals, tunneled catheters, pelvic venograms, and other procedures.
Demonstrate knowledge of radiation safety and sterile technique.
Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
Work effectively as part of a team and be self-motivated.

Required Qualifications

Valid Radiology Technician license in New York.
Minimum of 2 years of Radiology Technician experience, including experience within the last year.
Experience as an X-Ray Technician.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
