Assignment Details
- Travel assignment
- 36 hours per week
- 13 weeks
- Unit: 3rd Floor
- Building: A
- 25 beds
- Patient ratio: Days 5-6:1; Nights 6:1
- Floating: PRN, most often between MS units
- Schedule: Every other weekend (Sat, Sun); weekdays flexible
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Med Surg (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- BLS
- Experience with IV Pumps
- Experience with Pyxis medication dispensing cabinets
Preferred Qualifications
- NIH
- CPI
Unit Information
- Unit staffing includes a Unit Secretary on days and 2-3 PCTs on days and nights
- Equipment includes Sara Steady, Wound Vac, Tele Health, Virtual Sitter equipment, and remote telemetry
- Documentation system: Meditech
- Patient experience expectations: BSSR and Hourly Rounding
- Procedures performed on the unit include IV and foley catheter placement
- Dress code: Black or Royal Blue scrubs
