Overview
- Travel RN assignment in PCU
- 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- Unit has 20 beds
- Patient ratio is 4:1
- Floating area(s): Med Surg, ICU for border patients, Emergency Department for ED holds
- Every other weekend or the equivalent if staffing needs require this
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in New Hampshire
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
- Strong dysrhythmia recognition skills
- Experience with cardiac drips
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
Preferred
- Pre-post cardiac cath and pacer patient care experience
- Prior HCA experience
Unit Details
- Day shift staff: 5 RNs
- Night shift staff: 5 RNs
- Equipment: GE cardiac monitoring, Hospira IV pumps
- EMR: Expanse
