Unit Description
- Progressive Critical Care Unit caring for medically delicate and surgically complex adult patients.
- Patient conditions include respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head injuries, multi-system organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders, complex traumas, and surgical complications.
- Average patient load: 3 high acuity patients.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York.
- Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience, including experience within the last year.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- ACLS certification.
- Experience with Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Additional Information
- Navy blue scrubs are required.
- Competency test must be completed within 24 hours of submission.
- Local candidates from certain counties are not eligible as of 1/11/2024.
