Registered Nurse - Telemetry (Travel)

Location: Aurora, Colorado

Unit Information

• Unit: Telemetry (CC4 Telemetry)
• Number of Beds: 345
• Recognized with 3-time Magnet Designation
• Staff: Float pool of about 80
• Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:5 (varies by unit and shift)
• Equipment: Various medical equipment used
• EMR System: Meditech / CPN
• Patient Population: Large cardiac population with 2 telemetry floors and a progressive care unit (PCU) floor
• Floating: Nurses float to all inpatient Med/Tele and Rehab units

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
• Minimum 1 year of telemetry experience within the last year
• Acute care experience
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS
• De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong telemetry experience
• Chemotherapy certification (preferred for scheduling on Oncology unit)
