Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab (Travel)

Location: Tucson, Arizona
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Four 10-hour shifts, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Hours per Week: 36 hours guaranteed
On-Call Requirements:

7 to 9 on-call shifts per month, including one weekend
30-minute response time to hospital for STEMI calls
Ability to pick up additional on-call shifts if desired

Job Description

Circulating and monitoring in the Cath Lab
Familiarity with STEMI protocols and high-risk equipment such as Impella, IABP, Anari
Experience with Electrophysiology (EP) and Interventional Radiology (IR) preferred
Patient ratio approximately 3:1
Must be willing to float to an additional nearby location

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
Minimum 3 years of Cardiac Cath Lab nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Circulating experience in the Cath Lab
Familiarity with STEMI protocols
