Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab (Travel)

Location: Tucson, Arizona
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Four 10-hour shifts, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Hours per Week: 36 hours guaranteed
On-Call Requirements:

  • 7 to 9 on-call shifts per month, including one weekend
  • 30-minute response time to hospital for STEMI calls
  • Ability to pick up additional on-call shifts if desired

Job Description

  • Circulating and monitoring in the Cath Lab
  • Familiarity with STEMI protocols and high-risk equipment such as Impella, IABP, Anari
  • Experience with Electrophysiology (EP) and Interventional Radiology (IR) preferred
  • Patient ratio approximately 3:1
  • Must be willing to float to an additional nearby location

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
  • Minimum 3 years of Cardiac Cath Lab nursing experience, including experience within the last year
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Circulating experience in the Cath Lab
  • Familiarity with STEMI protocols
