Care for patients with a wide variety of trauma and orthopedic injuries including blunt force trauma, polytrauma, spinal cord injuries (SCIs), gunshot wounds (GSWs), stabbings, as well as standard telemetry patients such as chest pain, stroke workups, chronic cardiac conditions (CHF, Afib, RVR), and traumatic brain injuries (TBIs).
Typical procedures include neurovascular checks on limbs, frequent ambulation and repositioning, orthopedic precautions, and comprehensive pain control.

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
Minimum 1 year of telemetry nursing experience within the last year
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Team-oriented unit with several staff members having over 10 years of experience
Supportive and welcoming to new staff with a strong focus on teamwork

Candidates without at least 1 year of current acute care telemetry RN experience will not be considered.
The unit treats a diverse patient population with complex and acute conditions requiring specialized telemetry nursing skills.
