Role Overview

• Travel/Contract RN in ICU
• Will care for Cardiac ICU patients and overflow from MICU, Trauma ICU, and Neuro ICU, with focus on cardiology
• Unit has 23 staffed beds

Schedule

• Night shift: 4x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
• Every other weekend required
• Travelers are asked to be flexible for unit needs
• On-call not required
• Block schedule not accepted

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• CVICU (2 years of experience)
• CVICU experience within the last year
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Experience with Epic

Preferred

• TNCC
• Experience in high volume, high acuity, teaching, and trauma facilities

Work Setting

• Floating to other ICUs and boarder areas should be expected
• Magnet, teaching, Level I Trauma facility

Additional Notes

• Local candidates accepted
• RTO limit: no more than 6 days
• Scrub color: blue; facility provided as needed or own solid color
• Guaranteed hours: facility can call off 1 shift per 2-week pay period
