Nuclear Med Tech

Location: Charleston, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 (Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 8-hour shifts; start times may vary by an hour)
Call Requirements:

1 weekday call per week
Weekend call every 4th or 5th weekend
Shift Rotation: Potential to rotate to other shifts based on staffing needs

Unit: PET / Nuclear Medicine
Number of Beds: 321
Equipment:
- GE Discovery 630 and GE Infinia
- GE 8 slice PET CT scanner
- Xeleris 5 software
Documentation System: Meditech
Procedures Performed:
- Nuclear Medicine: Nuclear Stress Test, Cardiac Amyloidosis, MUGA, Parathyroid scans, V/Q with pulmonex, GI Bleed, Hida, Gastric Emptying, Bone Scans, DaTscans, Brain Flow, Renogram, Thyroid Uptake and Scan, Cisternograms
- PET CT: Oncology, Prostate, Amyvid PET scans
Dress Code: Gray scrubs
Patient Experience: AIDET training required

Required Qualifications

Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in South Carolina
Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year

Facility is a 313-bed hospital with a 24-hour emergency room and Level II Trauma Center

Accredited Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center
