Overview
- Travel RN role in Labor and Delivery
- Location: Las Vegas, Nevada
- Schedule: 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Unit Details
- Labor and Delivery unit with 8 labor beds, 8 antepartum beds, 4 triage beds, and 2 ORSs
- Mother baby unit has 27 beds
- Level III NICU has 24 beds
- Patient ratios: labor 1:2, antepartum 1:3
- Weekends rotate
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Nevada
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- ACLS
- NRP
- BLS
- AWHONN
- Experience circulating for C-sections
Preferred Qualifications
- Primary baby catching ability
Procedures / Clinical Experience
- C-sections
- Labor and delivery
- Recoveries
- Magnesium titration
Floating
- Mother baby for care of moms
- Task nurse floating to other hospital units
Additional Notes
- Standard L&D equipment, including NOVII wireless monitors and centricity central fetal strip surveillance throughout the unit
- EMR: CPN, meditech for order entry and labs
- Dress code: black scrubs, or black bottoms and pink tops
