Location: Salt Lake City, Utah
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Hours per Week: 36

Unit Information

Unit: Surgery (Operating Room)
Number of OR Beds: 13
Staff: 81+ full-time equivalents
Trauma Level II (24-hour staff coverage)
Typical Day Shift Staffing: 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters
Electronic Medical Record System: EPIC
Procedures: All typical OR procedures except LVADs, transplants, and pediatric patients under 14 years old

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Utah
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Experience with da Vinci Robotics
Orthopedic surgical experience

Preferred Qualifications

Vascular surgical experience

Additional Information

Weekend and on-call shifts required: 3 to 6 call shifts per month
Best personality fit: Flexible and adaptable to dynamic OR environment
