Overview

Location: Janesville, Wisconsin
Employment type: Contract
Schedule: 0.9 FTE day shift, 0630-1900
Weekend/holiday rotation: Every third weekend and holiday rotation
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Long Term Care experience within the last year
Long Term Care experience
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Work Expectations

May be asked to float to other inpatient units based on census

Core Responsibilities

Provide nursing care using the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to nursing standards, policies, procedures, and state practice laws
Document care according to standards
Develop, initiate, and carry out individualized plans of care, including patient and family education
Participate in unit or department performance improvement activities
Support other units or departments with clinical expertise as needed
Use critical thinking to promote patient safety and patient experience, and escalate concerns appropriately
