Schedule

• 12-hour day shifts
• 36 hours per week
• Rotating weekends

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Colorado
• ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• PALS issued by American Heart Association
• TNCC
• ENPC
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Registered Nurse
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

Job Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care
• Collect and assess health data
• Provide health teaching and counseling
• Provide therapy and treatment directly or through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching
• Execute delegated medical functions
• Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans
• Document care according to hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Use available resources as needed
• Float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need
• Work on-call during a regularly scheduled shift if required
