Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Overview

  • Travel assignment in Brooklyn, New York
  • Outpatient oncology clinic
  • Adult and geriatric patient population
  • Primary diagnosis: Oncology
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM
  • 37.5 hours/week
  • No shift rotation
  • Length of assignment: 8 weeks

Department / Setting

  • Outpatient Cancer Center
  • Special procedures: PET/CT
  • Equipment: Siemens Biograph Vision PET/CT and Hot Lab equipment

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in New York
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist (2 years of experience)
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year
  • NMTCB Certification
  • Experience in a Clinic setting
  • Experience in a Hospital setting
  • Starting and maintaining IVs
  • Isolation precautions and appropriate PPE
  • Safe handling, storage, and disposal of radioactive materials
  • Siemens equipment experience
  • PET imaging experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • ARRT (N)
  • ARRT (PET)
  • Previous Charge Technologist experience

Preferred Skills

  • Experience administering Pluvicto (theranostic) injections

  • Provider support: Radiology
